张舜徽的雅学理论研究

张舜徽小学功底深厚,于《说文》学有皇皇巨著《说文解字约注》,而关于雅学、声韵的研究却分散于其经史子集四部著作之中。通过对其20余部著作的研读,可发现张舜徽对雅学理论的建树:关于撰写时代和撰人问题,他认为《尔雅》是汉初经师经生们对古代传注的总汇,并非出自周公之手;关于性质问题,他认为《尔雅》是"汇集群经传注中训诂名物分类纂录而成"的,是我国最早的类书;关于分篇问题,他认为《尔雅》中有《叙》篇,此《叙》篇在《汉志》20篇之中,是传《尔雅》学者所为;关于邵晋涵《尔雅正义》和郝懿行《尔雅义疏》的得失问题,他总体上是尊邵抑郝。此外,张舜徽还提出了今后雅学发展规划,指明了雅学的发展路径。

The Theoretical Study of Erya by Zhang Shunhui

Zhang Shunhui’s studies on Erya and rhymes are seen in four of his books. As for the compiler and his era, he maintained that Erya was compiled by teachers and disciples in the early Han Dynasty, not by the Duke of Zhou. As its nature, he held that it was the earliest book compiled according to categories of things in China. He also discussed the gains and losses of two books respectively written by Shao Jinhan and Hao Yixing, commending the former and depreciating the latter. Besides, he also pointed out the roadmap of future studies on Erya.
