| 摘 要： | 精读课是大学英语专业教学中最核心的基础课程，但近几年来有些学校大量删减精读课时，从而影响学生英语综合能力的提高，不能很好地实现专业培养目标。论文结合目前一些学校精读开设的情况，从分析论证精读课时设置与学生的综合能力培养的关系以及精读课老师应具有的信念及态度等几方面讨论了以培养具有高能力的英语人才为基本目标的精读课时设置的问题，并提出了周课时要达到最低6学时，专科3年应达到590学时，本科四年应为756学时的建议。课题组通过课堂教学实验、观察、访谈、调查找到在实践上得到验证的结果，证明这种课时设置体系是既有理论支持，又在实践上证明有效的课程设置体系。

| Abstract: | In college English teaching, Intensive Reading plays a fundamental and significant role, while the lack of teaching hours in the curriculum has resulted in the poor performance of communicative skills in class, and thus greatly influenced the cultivation of students＇ all-round development. The paper mainly deals with the association of the allotting of teaching hours employed in the course of Intensive Reading for English majors and the cultivation of the Ss＇ all-round development and put out some feasible measures. |
