CALCULATION OF TRANSISTOR DISSIPATION IN SWITCHING POWER SUPPLIES AND ANALYSIS OF DC-DC CONVERTERS

This paper introduces the characteristics,basic principles and methods of transistor and diodeloss calculation of switching power supplies,and compares switchimg power supplies with traditional power supplies. In addition,the paper introduces four DC-DC converters commonly used in switching power supplies with a detailed discussion on two of them,and derives the voltage and current forms at the nodes of the circuits and voltage conversion ratio.
