On the Strategic Thoughts of Economic Development of the Party's Third Generation of Leading Collective and their Guiding Significance to Chongqing Municipality

The Party's third generation of leading collective has put forward a series of strategic thoughts of economic development, namely, realizing the Third Step's Goals in three courses, accomplishing the Two Basic Conversions, developing our country through science and education, speeding up the development in central and west China, adjusting the system of ownership, developing the state owned economy, maintaining China's sustained development, improving the opening to the world, promoting the development of economy, politics and culture. These thoughts play a guiding role in establishing developmental goals, renewing developmental ideas, setting developmental priorities and bases, and enlarging the opening to the world of new Chongqing.
