| 摘 要： | 文章研究了社区的基本概念并对其作了明确的界定 ,描述了组成社区的要素。介绍了美国农村社区研究的过去和现状 ,讨论了有关农村社区研究的理论。并从社会交往的角度 ,指出了农村社区发展的各种障碍。明确了农村社区研究的现实意义。

It also introduces the past and present situation of rural community studies in America. Some theoretical issues of rural community studies have been discussed and various barriers of the development of rural community have also been pointed out. The implication of rural community studies has been addressed. |
