On the study of the Qian-Jia School

Having played an active role on China's stage of learning in the 18th and 19th century, the Qian-jia School extended its influence to the mid 20th century. In the last 20 years, the vogue of re-assorting the history of learning came back and the study of the Qian-jia School has become an issue of concern. The demonstrates that the Qian-jia School had its special growth pattern, just as other academic schools in history, of birth, development and eclipse. A veracious understanding of this historical process will be helpful to comprehend the evolvement of Chinese learning during the 18th and 19th century.
