东盟推动东亚一体化原因探析

亚洲金融危机以来,东盟的外交政策呈现出新的特点,在推进东亚合作进程中东盟扮演着主导者的作用。其主要原因在于:努力提升本地区的经济水平;谋求以区域合作应对全球化的挑战,保护区内各成员国的利益不受损害;积极重塑外交新形象,努力提高在国际事务中的地位;尽快摆脱对美国在政治经济上的过分依赖。

Analysis on the Reasons of Pushing on the Integrative cooperation in ASEAN

After Asian financial crisis,the diplomatic policy of ASEAN has been taken on some new characteristics.ASEAN is now playing a leading role in the process of pushing on the cooperation between these Southeast Asian countries.The following are the four main reasons for this new phenomenon: firstly,promoting the economy level in southeast Asian area;secondly,responding to the challenge of globalization by regional cooperation to protect the interests of each member country in ASEAN;thirdly,rebuilding the new image of ASEAN to arise the status in intentional affairs;fourthly,shaking off the dependence on America both in politics and economy as soon as possible.
