Application of Project Management Contract in Large-Scale Construction Project

Project management contract(PMC) is a new construction project management model, which emerged in international construction industry recently. PMC contains three types, which are general risk type, pure management type, and consultant type. PMC applies to large and tech-complicated projects. This paper analyzes PMC's contract and organization relationships between project participants, and its integration advantages over other models. It focuses on the key aspects to apply PMC in large-scale construction projects successfully, that is, executing the project by two stages, building up effective organization, setting down full-scale procedure system, and applying value improvement process. PMC has a bright application future in our country.
