西部大学教师与大学生文化素质现状调查分析

受"中国公民人文素质调查与对策研究"课题组委托,对中国西部六个省市(广西、四川、贵州、云南、重庆、西藏)的大学教师和大学生两个群体共计810名对象的文、史、哲基本知识水平和文化价值观进行了比较全面的调查分析,结果表明:(1)大学师生文、史、哲基本知识水平不高,并由高到低呈下降趋势;(2)大学教师文、史、哲基本知识水平显著高于大学生;(3)大学师生的文化兴趣具一致性和多样性,多数对中国主流文化感兴趣,大学教师比大学生对传统经典文化更感兴趣,大学生比大学教师更喜欢通俗文化.这些结果对进一步改进和加强西部高校文化素质教育具有很好的启示作用.

The Survey and Analysis of the Cultural Qualities of the College Teachers and Students in Western China

This paper bases itself on the survey for humanistic qualities of Chinese citizens,which makes a general analysis for the level of the basic knowledge in art,history and philosophy as well as culture values of 810 teachers in colleges and undergraduates from six western provinces or cities(Guangxi,Sichuan,Guizhou,Yunan,Tibet and Chongqing).The result shows that:(1) their knowledge of literature,history,philosophy is quite inadequate,and is in the tendency of reducing;(2) teacher's basic knowledge in literature,history and philosophy is superior to the students remarkably;(3) Their interest in civilization is of unity and diversity;most of them show great interest in Chinese mainstream culture,and the teachers are more interested in traditional and classical culture than the students,while the students are more interested in popular culture.This paper aims to discuss the revelation on the quality education of culture in the western colleges from survey and analysis above,and raises some relevant countermeasures.
