论保安族早期的民族过程

对历史上保安族先民的一些活动以及这些活动在保安族的形成过程中所起的作用进行了分析 ,认为在保安族的民族过程中 ,其民族意识经历了一个潜民族、自在的民族与自觉的民族的变化过程 ;在与其他民族的交往过程中 ,保安民族内部的自我认同与其他民族对保安民族的认异在这三个过程中起到了促成、维系这一民族的共同体稳定的作用 ,也增强了保安民族的凝聚力 ;保安民族的最终形成是在他们迁徙到甘肃省积石山地区并定居下来后完成的

On the Formation of the Ethnic Community of the Bao'ans

The present paper is a historical study of the formation of the ethnic community of the Bao'ans of Gansu Province concluding that it has undergone three phases, that of the sub-ethnic consciousness, that of a natural ethnic consciousness and that of an active ethnic consciousness,that the interaction with other ethnic groups has helped build up their ethnic identity and that the completion of the formation is marked by their settlement in the Jishi mountain areas.
