历史上,柯尔克孜族先民信仰过萨满教等原始宗教,后信仰伊斯兰教。尽管柯尔克孜族皈依伊斯兰教已有数百年,但在他们今天的信仰中,我们依然可以看到远古信仰的遗留。现在在柯尔克孜族人的信仰中,原始宗教与人为宗教并存依然是其宗教信仰方面的重要特征。这样的特征,反映在他们的生活和行为中,显示出宗教信仰的复杂性。随着时间的推移和社会的发展,呈现出宗教仪式简化、宗教对生活的影响弱化和宗教观念渐趋淡泊的趋势。

Kirghiz Religious Belief Investigation in Heiziwei Township, Wuqia County, Xinjiang

Kirghiz had believed in primitive religions, such as Shamanism, before they changed to be Moslems. Though hundreds of years past since they were converted to Islamism, we can still notice some traces of primitive religions in their belief. Today, coexistence of primi tive and man-made religions in Kirghiz belief is an outstanding characteristic. This characteristic has gone deep into their daily life and behaviors. As time goes on and the society develops, the complex nature of their religious belief is tending to be simpler in religious rites, weaker in religious influences on life, and more conservative in religious sense.
