关于近代新闻史研究的几点思考

近年来,中国近代新闻史研究虽然取得了可喜的成就,但是仍存在着一些缺憾:国别上重中国而轻外 国;未能及时吸收、借鉴历史学界的成果;分期不够合理,过多地照搬了革命史的分期。近代新闻史应该有自己的科 学体系。

Reflections on the Study of the Modern History of the Press

The study of the modern history of the press in China stili leaves something to be desired. For exarnple, special attention has been paid to the newspapers run by the Chinese rather than those by foreigners; findings of the historians have not been used in time; the history of the press has not been properly periodized. The modern history of the press should have a scientific system of its own.
