从吐鲁番文书看唐代西州县以下行政建制

贞观十四年,侯君集率兵平定高昌国后,唐朝政府在该地设置西州,属于正州。据传世文献记载,唐朝在西州推行与内地一样的州县制度。但是,县以下的行政建制阙载。本文根据出土文书证明,唐朝实行于内地的县以下的乡里制度也推行于西州地区。但是,由于地理条件的差异,西州地区乡里制度与内地不尽相同,西州地区没有发现“村”的建制。但这并不表明是乡里制度的变通,而是唐朝执行该制度严格的象征。

Administrative System below County in Xizhou Prefecture in the Tang Dynasty Revealed in Turpan Documents

Based on unearthed documents, the paper shows that the administrative system below county practiced in inland China in the Tang Dynasty was also implemented in Xizhou Prefecture. But, due to the different geographical environment, the administrative system of Xizhou was dissimilar to that of inland area; for example, there wasn't a village level in the administrative system of Xizhou. All of these do not indicate the change in administrative system, but show the strict implementation of this system in the Tang Dynasty.
