A Probe into the Progress from the Fall of the Wei Dynasty to the Rise of the Jin Dynasty

This paper is an analysis of some crucial political events and historical figures in the progress from the Wei to the Jin Dynasty. It offers persuasive arguments on the origins of the Gaopinglin Coup launched by Sima Yi and the main power he relied on. It also probes into Sima family's efforts in this turbulent progress, and explains to why Sima You could ever play an important role in the political arena in the early Jin Dynasty.
