借旁观者之闻见 演贾家之人事——《红楼梦》开篇五人论

《红楼梦》作为中国小说史上一部经典名著,其复杂的体系、复杂的思想、复杂的人物关系、复杂的故事事件,是学者永远谈论不完的话题。为了表现复杂而难以言喻的体系、思想、人物、事件,作者曹雪芹精心设置了一些特殊的开场人物。甄士隐、贾雨村、冷子兴、林黛玉、刘姥姥作为《红楼梦》开场前六回中的人物,有如五面镜子,昭示了红楼故事的内在本质。借助诸人,我们可从中窥见伟大作家结构小说时的重要特点。

As a classical masterpiece in Chinas history of novels, "Dream of the Red Mansion" has always been the subject of discussions by scholars on its complex structure, thoughts, relations between characters and plot. To demonstrate the complex structure, thoughts, characters, events which are beyond verbal expression, Cao Xueqin, the writer set up some special characters for the beginning. The five characters, Zeng Shiyin, Jia Yucun, Leng Zixing, Lin Daiyu, Granny Liu in the first six chapters are like five mirrors reflecting the inner essence of the story of "Dream of the Red Mansion". In virtue of these characters, we can get a glimpse of the important features this great writer fabricated his novel.
