| 摘 要： | 敦煌毗沙门天王图像极其丰富,它分为单尊毗沙门天王像,其中包括"毗沙门天王供养图"、"毗沙门行道天王图"及其他三小类;复合型毗沙门天王像中的第一类毗沙门天王主要跟一般的形象一起出现,第二类则是把一些跟于阗建国护国有关的形象放在一处论述.论文还大致按毗沙门天王信仰的流传时序,对毗沙门天王信仰的状况作了论述,指出毗沙门天王信仰最初的流行跟于阗有关,突出的是一种建国护国的保护神作用,后来又突出了其作为战神、护军神的功能,受到当时人民的极大崇拜.

| Abstract: | The rich store of the Heavenly King sculptures in Dunhuang fall into two types,singular and compound, each having its own characteristics.These sculptures are not only works of their own artistic value,they reflect the ancient people's faith,particularly that of the Yutian area from where the image came,in the protection god,or war god,or both. |
