人神对立与人神对话--中西文化差异的神话根源

中国和欧洲的史前神话系统所关联的原始母题基本上是一致的,但中西方塑造了两个本质上并不相同的神话世界.中国神话强调的是秩序性和等级性,所架构下的神界和人界,相互对立(隔离),无法展开实质性对话.西方神话强调的是人的自由性和人的本性,所架构下的神界和人界具有对话性,可以展开实质性对话.中西方不同的神话特征,通过各自民族记忆和集体无意识的传递及强化,最终导致了两种完全不同的文化的形成.

Contradiction and Dialogue between Humans and Gods--Mythological causes of the differences between Chinese and Occidental Cultures

The motives of the prehistoric ethnic groups in Chinese and occidental mythologies are basically the same, but Chinese mythology and the occidental create two different mythological worlds in essence. In the structure of Chinese mythology severance exists and the essential dialogues can not be achieved between human world and divine world, in which order and rank is emphasized. But in the structure of occidental mythology dialogue exists and the essential dialogues can be achieved between human world and divine world, in which freedom and human's nature is emphasized. The characteristics of these two mythologies are passed down through and stressed by the collective consciousness and unconsciousness, and eventually result in the formation of two different cultures respectively.
