| 摘 要： | 民间信仰与经济的关系是民俗研究中较少涉及的问题。通过对城隍信仰与中国古代城市经济发展关系的个案研究,可以看到信仰社区的经济状况在一定程度上决定了信仰对象(庙宇、信仰活动等)的规模;反之,某种信仰的盛行又会带动社区的经济活动,促进社区的经济发展。信仰与社会经济之间存在着一种互动的联系,呈现为共生互荣的态势。

| Abstract: | In study of folklore,the relationship between folk faith and economy is often neglected.This article,by way of the case study of the relationship between the faith in town gods and the economy of ancient Chinese towns,makes a probe into the interaction between faith and social economy,and draws a conclusion of sharing living and prosperity.While the town economy,to a certain degree,depends on the scale of some faith in gods,its popularity brings about economic activities and promotes the economic development. |
