词汇量水平与词汇习得策略的实证研究

摘    要:对不同词汇量水平的英语学习者的词汇学习方式进行调查研究,能够发现我国英语学习者词汇量水平与词汇习得策略之间的相关性,希望提高学生的词汇量,在了解学生词汇水平的基础上,科学地结合刻意学习和附带习得的词汇习得策略。

Abstract:Vocabulary learning has been very hot in the field of second language acquisition since 1980s.Scholars home and abroad have done quite a few researches on vocabulary learning and its strategies.Therefore,this thesis is a survey of the Chinese EFL learners' vocabulary learning modes used by students of different vocabulary levels.It aims to find out the correlation between vocabulary level and vocabulary learning modes and what vocabulary learning modes are frequently used by Chinese EFL learners with different vocabulary levels.This thesis holds that in order to enhance students' vocabulary level and enlarge their vocabulary,teachers should combine the intentional vocabulary acquisition with the incidental vocabulary acquisition based on students' vocabulary levels.The result from the survey has some useful implications for the teaching of English vocabulary.
