少数民族地区经济结构存在“二元经济”特征,即商品经济的外循环运行机制和礼俗交往的内循环运行机制。礼俗交往的内循环运行机制在少数民族地区具有传统的社会保障功能,这种机制同时也制约了当地商品经济的发展。

From the "Duality" to Perspectine the Development and Llimitation of the Ethnic Rural Commodity Economy

The economic structure had the feature of "dual economy" in the ethnic minority areas, which was external cycle operating mechanism of commodity economy and the internal cycle operating mechanism of the rites contacts. The internal cycle operating mechanism of the rites contacts had the function of traditional social security in ethnic minority areas. This mechanism also restricted the development of local commodity economy.
