On O'Neill's Feminism under the Hegemonic Masculinity

Few critics focus on O'Neill's hegemonic masculinity, despite a wide range of research of his female characters. It is the reason why "the mother of earth" worshipped by masculinity welcome the respect of women in the world and what is the persistent motivation of O'Neill's creation. Therefore, it is impossible to display the real greatness of O'Neill's drama. Here a new research route is provided on the basis of communication theory to rethink the former analyses and to reply the above mentioned issues.
