贺双卿考辨

本文对胡适怀疑贺双卿存在的五点“可疑”逐一进行了驳正 ,并就史震林《西青散记》所述时间地名人物的真实性、双卿词与他人词的比较、史震林之外的文人学士对双卿其人其词的关注和敬重、丹阳贺姓书香门第的家学渊源、《丹阳县志》与《金坛县志》的确凿记载 ,以及历代文学媒体的认可等方面进行了较为翔实的考辨 ,确认 :贺双卿并非史震林虚构的人物 ,而是实有其人

A Textual Criticism of He Shuang-qing

This paper clears away the suspicion of the five uncertain points aroused by Hu Shi in his study of He Shuang-qing.Considering the authenticity of the time,place names and characters depicted in Shi Zhen-lin's Random Notes of Xiqing ,the differences between Shuang-qing's poems and those of the other poets,the foundation of profound learning inherited by his family in Danyang,the written records in the local chronicles of Danyang County and Jintan County as well as the general recognition of the literay circles in the suceeding generations,this paper holds that He Shuang-qing is not a made-up character but a real person living in his times.
