| Abstract: | Globalization has led to co-existence and mutual development of political culture, which is both a chance and a challenge to the construction of contemporary Chinese political culture. Armed with Deng Xiaoping's Theory, we must quicken our pace in democracy, cultivate the citizens' political consciousness in participation and recognition, enhance the political quality of the whole nation, and develop what is useful or healthy and discard what is not in Chinese-foreign cultures so that a completely new Chinese political culture can be finally constructed. |
