| 摘 要： | 海明威在《永别了．武器》一书中明显表露出《圣经》情结。他把女主人公凯瑟琳塑造成了耶稣基督的化身．多次用《圣经》中常见的“尘土”意象作为象征性的背景。他还借男主人公亨利由恶到善的思想转变过程，揭示了由于战争的罪恶人类注定走向毁灭．只有弃恶从善。才是人类唯一的出路这一深刻主题，从而在作品中“复活”了《圣经》一书中对人类“救赎之途”的期望和探索。

| Abstract: | This study is to explore the complex about the Bible that Ernest Hemingway expresses in A Farewell to Arms, in which Catherine, the heroine, acts as the embodiment of Jesus Christ, with, just as in the Bible, a dozen of symbolic ＂dust＂ backgrounds. A Farewell to Arms discloses that due to the sin of war, human beings are doomed to destruction and the only way out lies in the pursuit of ＂the good,＂ instead of ＂the evil,＂ via a positive transformation in the mind so as to re-create in the story the search for salvation of man in the Bible. |
