| Abstract: | Judith Wright,a famous Australian woman poet,contributed a lot to the growth and prosperity of Australian literature with her critical theory and poetic creation.Based on her early poems,a general and com- prehensive study of Wright is made in brief comparison with another poet Kenneth Slessor,involving her in- sightful literary ideas,her unique treatment of literary themes,her philosophy,her masterly poetic artistry, etc.and she is defined as a mark of maturity of Australian literature well worth the attention of the literary world. |
