儒学与天主教会通过程中的儒家经典译介

明清以降,天主教耶稣会士大量来华,他们为顺利生存和传教而会通儒学,不断靠拢、比附、融会、贯通和吸收儒家思想,在“西风东渐”传播天主教义和西方科学的同时,开辟了“东学西传”尤其是译介儒家经典的工作,为传播中国传统思想文化做出了重要贡献.耶稣会士对儒家经典的译介可以界定为三个阶段:“学习期”的主要目的是把儒经作为语言材料来学习中文；“化用期”的主要目的是借助儒家思想来抨击欧洲黑暗社会;“研究期”主要属于宗教哲学的学术探讨.先秦儒家经典“四书五经”的译介历程曲折而成果丰硕,激起了欧洲思想界的波澜,促进了西方尊重理性与自由的启蒙运动.

Introduction and Translation of Confucian Classics in Integration of Catholicism and Confucianism
