论“授人以渔”和促进学习者自主的差异

摘    要:许多作者常常引用"授人以鱼,一日食鱼;授人以渔,终身得鱼"这一谚语来说明外语教学中促进自主学习的重要性.但自主学习是一个复杂的概念,讨论时如果简单地以"授人以渔"指代"促进学习者自主",就容易使读者对自主学习的知识观和学习观、策略培训、学习者角色、教师角色和培训效果等方面产生误解.

Abstract:To illustrate the significance of learner autonomy promotion in language teaching,quite a few authors tend to refer to the traditional Chinese saying"Give someone a fish and you feed them for a day;teach them to fish,and you feed them for life".The present paper,however,argues that learner autonomy is a complex phenomenon,and at the same time clears up some possible misinterpretations about the quotation from five perspectives.
