| 摘 要： | 托马斯·哈代的《无名的裘德》极具空间叙事特点。小说呈现出三大空间:亦真亦幻的"威塞克斯"空间,哈代在小说中沿用"威塞克斯"这一真实历史名称,设置了小说的悲剧空间;人物挪移的地理空间,小说以六个主要地点为空间肌理,勾画出裘德无法逃逸的人生悲剧;自然与城市的对立空间,裘德试图离开农村的自然空间进入城市空间,却成为两个空间都抛弃的边缘人,没有自己的空间归属。这些空间叙事都深化了小说的悲剧主题。

| Abstract: | Thomas Hardy＇s Jude the obscure is a novel of typical spatial narrative. It presents three spatial narratives： the real fantasy world of Wessex, where Hardy adopted the real historical Wessex to name his novel＇s geographical place which sets the tragic spatial context; Jude＇s moving geographical space, where the novel threads Jude＇s six main moving geographical places to sketch the inescapable spa- tial tragedy of life; and rival spaces of the rural and city, where Jude leaves the rural natural space for city, but urban space denies him, so he becomes a marginal being discarded by the two, and finds no space for him. These spatial narratives deepen the tragic theme of the novel. |
