| Abstract: | Cultural anthropology inevitably involves the need to identify the origin of words borrowed from other languages.Through concrete examples, this thesis sets out to expound the enormous complexity of origin identification, and then suggests four standards for origin identification and translation of alien words.The purpose of this paper is to draw researchers' attention to the issue. |
