新诗的句式

新诗的句式问题是从新诗写作的技艺层面来讨论的一个基础性的问题。在新诗发展过程中，曾先后出现过“散文句式”、“韵律句式”、“跨行句式”、“隐喻句式”等四种主导句式，其总体趋势表现为愈益疏离“文”的规范、追求“诗”的自立，这体现着新诗的进步，但我们又必须看到问题的另一面，防止过犹不及。新诗发展的当务之急在于总结和提高，一方面要以宽阔的胸襟允许这四种不同的句式并存和争妍，一方面要促使其走向结合和交融，以期把新诗的写作推向一个更高的境地。

Sentence Patterns of Chinese New Verse

The sentence patterns of Chinese New Verse are a basic technical question. In history, there were four main patterns ： the prosaic, the metrical, the multilined, and the metaphorical. The general tendency is to move away from prosaic norms and pursue poetic independence. This, of course, indicates the progress of New Verse, but we can not neglect the problems when this tendency goes to extremes. So, at present it is urgent to summarize so as to improve New Verse creation. On one hand, the four different patterns should be allowed to coexist and compete with each other; on the other hand, their integration and fusion should be encouraged so as to bring New Verse creation to a new height.
