模糊现象是客观世界的普遍现象,模糊性是语言的本质属性.在言语交际中,语言的模糊性在认知系统发生作用,形成一种制约言语活动(从编码到解码)的机制——模糊机制.言语交际的实践证明:模糊语在语用上有正负值之分,带正值的模糊语能丰富语言的表现活力,因而有助于交际的成功.

Some Notes on the Fuzziness in Verbal Communication

Fuzzy phenomenon as a universal can be found in every corner of the world exposed to us. And fuzziness turns out to be the nature of language. In the process of verbal communication, linguistic fuzziness goes to work in the whole cognitive system and a device called "Fuzzy Mechanism" is accordingly established to control one's verbal movements (from encoding to decoding). A conclusion from daily verbal communication shows that fuzzy expression is pragmatically classified into two sub-types the one with positive value and the one with negative value, with the former being able to enrich linguistic vigour and hence helping bring out one's success in social communication.
