城市青年的生育意愿:现状与比较分析

本文依据两次调查所得到的资料,描述了城市青年生育意愿的现状。研究表明,我国城市第一代独生子女青年的生育意愿与同龄的非独生子女没有显著的差异。处于不同城市、具有不同文化程度、不同婚姻状况的城市青年的生育意愿也基本相同。从数量上看,三分之一左右的青年希望生育两个孩子,60%左右的青年希望生育一个孩子,5%左右的青年不打算生孩子,希望生育三个以上的不足1%。城市青年生育意愿的现状与变迁趋势对生育政策的调整具有参考作用。

The Urban Youth's Desire for Giving Birth:the Actualities and a Comparative Analysis

Based on the data of two surveys, the paper describes the actualities of the urban youth's desire for giving birth. It shows that there is no significant difference in the desire between the first only-child youth and the non-only-child of the same age. And the desire is similar among the youth in different cities, despite the different education background and marital status. As to the number of children, about a third of young people want to have two, about 60%want one, about 5%want none and less than 1%want three or more. The actualities and the trend can be served as a reference to the adjustment of family planning.
