论社会科学人才的历史地位与作用

当代社会政治、经济的巨大发展进步,是在自然科学技术和哲学社会科学两家联盟的共同作用下,才得以实现的。它们在社会生产和生活中,具有各自不同的作用,因此,不可能互相替代,可能的只是互相补充和配合。哲学社会科学人才的作用可概括为以下四种,即新知识、新理论的创造者;其他精神产品生产的指导者;政治决策的咨询和参谋者;社会历史前进的推动者、指导者。

On the Historical Place and Role of Talents in Social Sciences

The great development and progress of the social politics and economy of our time are made by way of the coaction of natural sciences & technologies and philosophy & social sciences. They play different role in social production and life, so they can't substitube for each other, only can complement each other and work in coordination. The role of the talents in philosophy and social sciences can be summarized as follows: the creators of new knowledge, new theories; the guides of producing other spiritual products; the advisers and staff officers for government policy-making; the propellors and instructors of the society and history developmeut forward.
