Analysis on postmodernism in short story Night

Night developed its depiction from the view of a retarded man who imagined a fairy-tale world,which was used to reflect the paleness and cruelty of the real world.The story was written against the background of the development of postmodernism in Russia,with the characteristics of absurdity,fantasy,and fairy tales.The typical characteristics of Russian postmodernist literature are embodied in the building of the characters,the overthrow of the literary routinism and the traditional rational world,and the multi-angled depiction in the story.
