| 摘 要： | 综观张之洞的一生,在近代中西文明的尖锐冲突中,经世致用的人生取向使他朝向了西学,而儒门弟子的忠诚又使他无法放弃封建纲常的最后防线,不得不用"中体西用"的模式来表达自己的文化选择.联系当时的实际,应该说,作为封建统治阶级的一员,张之洞已经迈出了他自己所可能迈出的步伐.

| Abstract: | In all ZHANG Zhi-dong's Life, the Conflict between the modern traditional learning and western studies shapes his code of value, and his practiality in the worldly affairs enables him to be for the western studies.Yet,the loyalty to the Feudalism let him but to follow the model: traditional learning as the structure,achich western studies guaran Fee the practices, in order to distinguish himself. With respect to the then conditions, ZHANG Zhi-dong,as a member of the ruling group, has done what he could. |
