| 摘 要： | 以新历史主义为理论导向,致力于全新解读贝娄的杰作——《洪堡的礼物》。贝娄对大众迷恋物质的描绘以及他对艺术和现代艺术家命运的关注使他与新历史主义的＂文本的历史性＂不谋而合。这表明贝娄的文本一方面是特定的社会、文化和历史情境的产物,另一方面,作为历史话语的功能性组成部分,贝娄的文本还在建构现实,唤醒美国大众意识上起着作用。

| Abstract: | With new historicism as the theoretical basis,a fresh interpretation was conducted as to Bellow＇s masterpiece Humboldt＇s Gift.Bellow＇s portrait of people＇s attachment to materialism and his concern about arts and the fate of modern artists echo with new historicism in terms of ＂the historicity of text＂.Bellow＇s text in one aspect is the product of the particular social,cultural and historical conditions;in another it serves as a functional component of historical utterance,contributing to the construction of reality,stirring people＇s consciousness upon American mass concept. |
