章太炎对儒学宗教性问题的近代阐释

Zhang Taiyan's Explanation of Religion in Confucianism

Zhang Taiyan is a scholar and revolutionary in modern times. Objecting to establish Confucian-religion is his successive cultural view and the inherent needs of revolution. From pursuing after Kang Youwei and Liang Qichao publicizing political reform to propagating the quintessence of Chinese culture in the revolutionary times to publishing refute establishing Confucian-religion, his theory develops deeply. It is full of strong proof that he proves that the Confucianism is not a religion in theory and he points out that the people may not establish religions in revolutionary times, which reflects the deep ideas of thinkers that lies between the traditional and the modern times. All these is important to buffer the relationship between the traditions and the modernizations,and to the revolutionary struggle at that times.
