Innovating while developing: The experience and inspiration of distance education in UK

As the sign of the open university in UK,Britain's distance education has had high respectability in the world. The open university in UK has accumulated a lot of experiences in the practice of running distance education. These experiences are: regarding to make new course book and offer new course as the most important work of university from beginning to end;based on the characteristics of the open education,doing a good work in the system construction of supporting service of students;concerning about the developing trends of modern education technology closely,enriching teaching methods;according to the demand of modern management science,setting up tight moving mechanism of teaching management.By studying the successful experiences from Britain's distance education we should improve our teaching and learning in Henan RTVU .
