| Abstract: | Based on the study of the birth and development of the Chinese and western management thoughts, the paper comparatively analyzes the differences between the Chinese and western management thoughts and points out that it is the cultural differences that result in the differences in the Chinese and western management thoughts. The paper argues that the modern management systems with Chinese characteristics can be established by absorbing the quintessence and rejecting the dross of the Chinese culture. |
