动态语境与话语选择

语境与话语分析的研究从传统单一的语境特征描述开始,经历了从一元到多元的发展过程,但都没有突破静态的研究,即只强调话语的情景场所,而忽视了话语参与者在每个话轮情景中的改变。Sperber和Wilson提出的关联理论从理据上阐明了动态语境研究的合理性,注重话语理解过程的语境变化。本文立足于认知语言学理论,通过研究动态的语境观察对话语选择的影响,从实践上证明话语的选择取决于不断变化着的语境,这也为话语人际意义的研究提供了更直接的分析途径。

Dynamic Context and Choice of Utterance

Although the study of context and discourse analysis has evolved from merely describing the features of the context of utterance into a multiple value analysis system,it has yet to go beyond a static approach which emphasizes only the physical and social environment of an utterance while neglecting the changes of each speaker with each change of turns. The relevance theory of Sperber and Wilson justifies a dynamic approach to context study which pays due attention to the change of context in the course of discourse comprehension.This thesis, in a cognitive linguistics perspective,examines how observing the context affects choice of utterance,thus proving that choice of utterance depends on the ever-changing context.Such a dynamic approach provides a more direct method of analysis of interpersonal relations.
