盛宣怀教育思想的独特性辨析

摘    要:盛宣怀教育思想的独特性在于其办学指导思想是中学为体、西学为用;手段是创办新式学堂,培养新式人才;强调实践,学以致用等。其祖上经世致用的理念、国难当头与救危扶困的社会大环境、洋务运动的影响以及自身独特的身份和实践是其独特教育思想形成的原因。

Abstract:The uniqueness of Sheng Xuan-huai's educational thinking lies in the fact that his guideline in running school was to take Chinese education as the main body while making use of the western education,the means were to establish new-style schools and train new-style personnel and he emphasized practice and studied something in order to apply it,etc.His unique idea in education had resulted from his ancestors' Confucian philosophy,the social environment of national calamity,the impact of Westernization Movement,and his own special identity and practice.
