Shapin's views of the history of science has transcended the traditional views of it,the main content of his views included: the insistence of the historical quality of the history of science,the thought of that the history of science occupies the same terrain as the history of politics and the idea of that the history of science is a social history of truth.The limitations of Shapin's views of the history of science is major in its relativistic point,its ignorance of the science quality of the history of science and its cover for the objectivity of science.
