Abstract:One-year level-based teaching has broken through the routine of regular teaching environment in the classroom,which affects the continuity of study.From the perspective of non-English majors in a famous vocational college in China,the thesis investigates the impact of this teaching model on the implicit environment of foreign language classes.The survey shows that the related factors aren’t developed evenly;the extent of the influence varies among learners of different levels and those with low-level English proficiency tend to be affected easily by the implicit environment.As a result,the level-based teaching should take all the pros and cons into consideration to make it much more scientific and reasonable.Teachers,as the most active factors in this environment,are supposed to strengthen the communication with students and guide them in order to create more positive implicit environment in the foreign language courses.
