| Abstract: | Altogether fifty-two gallant novels in the Tang Dynasty have been supplemented in this paper. In terms of the research methods of Investigations on the Number and Contents of Gallant Novels in the Tang Dynasty, these gallant fiovels are classi＇fied into four different stages： stage of germination, stage of develOpment, stage of prosperity, stage of decline. This paper also makes concise text research on the derivation, edition, content, change and historical develop- ment of these novels. |
