阐释翻译理论与阐释过程

阐释翻译理论强调译者应从跨文化的角度对文本进行阐释,旨在不同文化的读者能够更好地互相理解.借鉴了翻译理论家斯坦纳的阐释理论,提出阐释翻译的四个过程,即信赖释意、理解入侵、表达吸收和对等补偿,强调阐释的内容即认知补充的内容,为了避免损失,对等补偿必不可少.阐释翻译对我国翻译理论的构建意义在于它打破了翻译"忠实性"的神话,为译者的翻译实践提供了更加开放的实践基础.

On the Hermeneutic Theory and Hermeneutic Translation Procedure

The hermeneutic translation emphasizes that the translator should approach the text from the perspective of intercultural communication so that readers of different cultures could achieve a better understanding of each other. Based on the reference of the hermeneutic translation theory by American translation theorist, George Steiner, this paper puts forward the four-step hermeneutic procedure in translation: interpretation based on trust, invasion along with understanding, incorporative import, and equivalent compensation. This paper also emphasizes that the content of the hermeneutic translation is the recognition supplement to the original text, and to avoid loss, compensation is indispensable. The constructive significance of the hermeneutic translation to Chinese translation theory lies in the fact that it breaks the myth of "faithfulness" in translation practice, therefore giving the translator greater liberty in translation practice.
