The Historic Significance of Innovation in British Culture

After the Great Discovery of new continent of 1492, many European countries, such as Portugal, Spain, became more powerful at that time. Gradually, England took the place of them, and became the most powerful country in the world. All these historic events were deeply connected with British culture. This paper tries to account for the function and the significance of innovation in the development of civilization in Britain, which is core of British culture, and put forwards that British culture will influence the future of the world through political, economic, and cultural ways.
