从作者看《西游记》为道教文学奇葩

本文指出把神魔小说《西游记》作者定为吴承恩 ,说服力不强。文章着重根据全真教秘史以及古今对《西游记》的述评 ,不仅认为今本《西游记》的“祖本”《西游记 (平话 )》为全真教主丘处机华山弟子史志经师徒所撰 ,而且认为 ,今本《西游记》书的定稿者 ,也是明代万历年间江苏茅山全真教龙门派道士阎希言师徒。因此 ,《西游记》应为道教文学奇葩。

Pilgrimage to the West: A Classical Work of Taoist Literature

Basing their study on the records in A History of Huai'an Fu of the Ming dynasty, Mr. Hu Shi and Mr. Lu Xun concluded that the author of Pilgrimage to the West (a novel about Gods and monsters) was Wu Cheng-en. Through a study of the secret history of Quanzhen Sect of Taoism and various comments on Pilgrimage to the West, the author concludes that the original version of this novel was written by Qiu Chuji, the founder of Quanzhen Sect and his disciple Shi Zhijing, and the present version was finalized by Yan Xiyan and his disciple who were also Taoists living in the Wanli Period of the Ming dynasty at Mao-Mountain of Jiangsu Province. Thus, Pilgrimage to the West is a classical work of Taoist literature.
