| Abstract: | Through the exposition of merits and demerits in the character creating in the historical novel pilgrimage to the West, this essay speaks highly of the two brilliant main characters of the Monkey King and the Pig. It also points out the eclipse of the other two main characters of Monk Xuanzang and Sandy. The fault is reasoned out from historical angles. |
