意义推导模式

意义推导模式即代码(或信码)模式、推理模式和明示—推理模式。代码模式几乎完全排斥了语境的作用、交际主体及其在表达思想时对语言运用的灵活性和多面性;推理模式是随着人们对意义认识的加深和语用学的诞生而提出来的,其重心是对暗含的推导。关联理论汲取了推理模式(甚至代码模式)的优点,又加上了明示一词,提出了明示—推理模式,其意义的推导涵盖了明说和暗含。

Evaluation on meaning inferential models

Meaning inferential models have developed from the code model to the inferential model and then to the ostensive-inferential model.The code model nearly excludes the role of context and the participants,their respective flexibility and many-sidedness in using language to communicate.The inferential model is suggested with deepening of people's insight into meaning and the birth of pragmatics.Gricean inferential model aims at how people communicate meaning by exploiting and violating code pragmatics,laying emphasis only on explicature.Relevance theory has taken the advantages of the inferential model(even the code model).Besides,the word "ostensive" has been added initially,thus the ostensive-inferential model.For meaning inference,it covers both explicature and implicature.The present paper summarizes and comments on the improvements and original viewpoints from the Chinese scholars concerning inferential models.
