| 摘 要： | 在分析了小说《卡普里考尼亚》中主人公——混血儿诺曼的身份僵局状态之后,援引后殖民研究的一些观点,认为白人殖民统治扭曲了诺曼的心理和意识,使其带上了＂白面具＂。接下来分析了白黑对立中白人优越论的虚幻和人为性,由此进一步论述了诺曼可能的僵局破解之途。

| Abstract: | Based on the analysis of the mix-blooded protagonist Norman＇s identity predicament in Australian novel Capricornia, and some ideas from post-colonial studies, this paper points out that white colonizers＂ domination has twisted Norman＇s psychology and self-consciousness, forcing him to wear a ＂white mask＂. Then the paper analyzes the fictitiousness and artificiality of white superiority in the confrontation between the white and the black. Finally the possible outlet of Norman＇s predicament is discussed. |
